Variety.com reports that actor Liam Neeson is in negotiations with 20th Century Fox to star as Col. John "Hannibal" Smith in the film adaptation of "The A-Team." As A-Team fans know, that role was originated by the late George Peppard in the classic '80s TV show created by Stephen J. Cannell.
