California beach bums and a mousy computer nerd decide to go into business for themselves as private investigators. Working out of a cabin cruiser dubbed Riptide, and attracting curious glances with an antique pink Sikorski helicopter called the Screamin' Mimi, most of their cases involve an action-packed series of high speed chases, explosions and beautiful girls in bikinis.
