Adam Beaudreaux, a Special Forces Vietnam veteran who now serves as an urban plainclothes police detective, is reunited with Grady Jamieson, who, as a young boy, saved Beaudreaux's life in the trenches of Southeast Asia.  Together they fight to bring justice back to the streets -- Beaudreaux by the rules of the law and Grady by the law of the streets.
